Home Trivium is a home schooling programme that equips parents with the tools they need to give their children the core features of a classical education, including the ability to learn and think for themselves.
The Trivium was and is a classical system of education which combines the three, core arts of Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric to provide a wholistic model of education. This well established, tried-and-tested method has long seen that if you can teach a student to gather, organise, and express their thoughts correctly, they may be equipped to be genuinely free and independent thinkers, ready to tackle a whole variety of fields, without being tethered to a single subject or textbook.
During the Home Trivium course, parents and children will both learn The Trivium together and find that it is a profoundly enriching study for becoming clear thinkers and effective communicators.
The course itself offers materials, structure, support, and professional guidance throughout so that families can be at once independent and flexible, whilst never feeling adrift on their own.

The Founder
Hi, I'm Tony - a private teacher from the UK with a background in Philosophy, who now specialises in teaching language and reasoning.
As one of the few online creators with an understanding of The Trivium, I created this course in response to some homeschooling friends here in the UK.
Now, the course is accessible worldwide to full-time homeschoolers or families who just want a good dose of critical thinking at home.

Our Programme
The Home Trivium programme is designed to first introduce children to the core concepts and skills inherent in the Trivium system, and then to practice them. After all, true education is not merely about memorising things, but about putting what we know to use.
For this reason, the course focuses heavily on activity. Each step of the programme starts with a lesson of some kind, after which the student is immediately invited to practice what they've learned. We are inviting the children to be at once correct, and creative.
The three facets of the course are the Home Trivium book (written for parents so that they can understand the concepts), The Path of Veritellum (an interactive story that guides students through each of the core principles), and the General Assignments (a selection of tasks which require a combination of skills that can develop the students' abilities at multiple levels of complexity).
Home Trivium can be done remotely and doesn't require any screen-time for the children.
